Cement sand
 

I was pouring some cement one day out of a cement truck. Once we were all finished, I was cleaning out the wheel barrow and cement truck and was seeing a lot of tiny goldish glitter. The wheel barrow in particular seemed to be acting like a gold pan. I saved the fine gold rich sand that I could in a cup, but forgot to grab it on my way home. :banghead:

Has anyone had any experience with the gold content of concrete sand?

Its certainly possible is some parts of the country.

However its more likely to be gold colored mica in most locations.

What part of the country are you in?
